The dubious portal "timenews24h.com" has published an article titled "The Albanian Armed Forces will be equipped with 4 helicopters, this donation from the US Army."
After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that this article is old, and the title is fabricated, which does not match the content in the text.
The news was published in May 2020, when the commander of the KSF, Rrahman Rama, declared that in addition to armored equipment, the Kosovo army is now considering creating an air fleet, equipping it with helicopters.
So, it is not true that the KSF will be equipped with 4 helicopters, and that they will be a donation from the US Army, as falsely claimed in the title.
Excerpt from the text of the article published on "timenews24h.com":
The Security Force is now planning to acquire additional equipment and has already signed several contracts for the supply of necessary equipment.
This is what the KSF commander, General, confirms, and he announces what equipment Kosovo soldiers need to be supplied with.
And in addition to armored equipment, the Kosovo army is now thinking about creating an air fleet. It says they are thinking about equipping themselves with helicopters.
