An image has been published claiming that Arben Gashi, a member of the Kosovo Assembly from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has declared that this entity will include the Serbian List as part of the government coalition.
Photography This claim was taken from an article published in the medium, "kallxo.com" and the same was posted yesterday (April 29) on Facebook, by an account named "Fleta Press".
What's wrong with the content?
Hibrid.info has found that Gashi's statement is old and lacks clarification of the time context.
As you can see, the date of publication of the news is missing from the photograph.
As of the time of writing, the post has received 76 comments, based on which it can be assessed that the claim can be considered current by the audience.
But, hibrid.info has researched the website of the portal, "kallxo.com", whose logo is seen in the photograph and found the article in question, which was published on April 28, 2020 (see here).
The article contains background explaining that it is about the situation after the no-confidence motion against the Kurti Government on March 25, 2020, initiated by the LDK itself due to disagreements over tariffs and the dismissal of Agim Veliu, the LDK General Council had decided to form a government coalition with AAK, Nisma, AKR and minority entities (see here).
In the current context of events in the country, Gashi has not said anything like that. After the conclusion of the parliamentary elections of February 9 and the certification of the results of these elections, the new deputies met eight times, but they did not manage to complete the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo. The new deputies are not able to find an understanding for the vote on the new Speaker of the Assembly, since the proposed Speaker, Albulena Haxhiu, is not receiving the necessary votes (see here).
Gashi's latest statements on this situation, encountered by hibrid.info, were made three days ago (April 27), where he asked the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) but also other parliamentary parties to become more responsible and find a solution to unblock the situation in the Assembly (see here, here and here).
