In an information session held at the American Corner in Prizren, representatives from local media, civil society, and other activists gathered to discuss the impact of disinformation and other forms of information disorder. Participants had the opportunity to explore mechanisms for deconstructing and identifying concrete examples of disinformation that have been published previously, focusing on a practical approach.
The project “Countering Disinformation Narratives through Innovation and Experiential Learning,” organized by the ADS and Hibrid.info organizations in cooperation with the US Embassy, served as an example of joint international engagement to combat this important challenge of the information society. Through mutual support and education of participants, this project aimed to promote a culture of awareness and criticism of information.
Such informative and practical sessions aim to improve the level of awareness and skills of the community in the face of the challenges of disinformation.
