The Municipality of Pristina announced on its official Facebook page on July 6 the start of digital queue management at the Citizen Service Center.
However, after fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the municipality of Pristina had offered this service to citizens years ago.
In this announcement, the Municipality of Pristina states that “The Directorate of Administration, within the framework of administrative reforms, has started a project for digital queue management at the Citizen Service Center (CSC).” However, there is no mention of the fact that such a service was available for use even earlier.

After researching online search engines, hibrid.info managed to find an article published no earlier than 2018, published on the “Koha.net” portal. This article addresses the problem of long waiting lines in the municipality.
However, the photo in this 2018 article shows the digital queue management device. (see here)

In addition to this article, hibrid.info has also managed to find a story published on "EkonomiaOnline.net" in 2020, in the footage of which a monitor appears with numbers that are taken on this device, as well as the numbers of the counters. (see here from minute 1:30)

While at minute 1:17, a similar device is seen that serves for digital queue management, in the premises of the Municipality of Pristina. (see here from minute 1:17)
A similar monitor with numbers received on the digital queue management device was also posted in the announcement of July 6, 2023 by the Municipality of Pristina. (see here)
Analyze:
Based on the above facts, hibrid.info has confirmed that such a service for citizens in the Municipality of Pristina has existed before.
Although this institution, through this announcement, claims that the Directorate of Administration has begun implementing this project, it is not clear that the same has been in use in previous years in the Municipality of Pristina in other departments or agencies.
In addition, the title of this announcement states "Digital queue management begins at the Citizen Service Center", implying it is a new initiative within this institution.
Based on the working methodology, hibrid.info assesses this announcement by the Municipality of Pristina as "Disinformation".
Reasoning:
A “Disinformation” rating is given to media reporting that contains a “mix” of inaccurate sources or even half-truthful content. This rating will also address reports that have incorrect attributions or headlines that do not reflect the text in terms of information accuracy.
