Milovan Drecun has claimed that Albin Kurti is aiming to divide the political representatives of Kosovo Serbs.
Drecun, who heads the Kosovo Commission in the Serbian Parliament, in a statement to the Serbian version of the Sputnik news agency, claimed that the winner of the elections in Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will try to include some Serbian representatives in the Kosovo negotiating team. Drecun bases these claims in the article titled "Pristina's Dangerous Game: An Attempt to Cause Disagreements Among Serbs and Kill the Dialogue with Belgrade" solely on Kurti's commitment to dialogue with Kosovo Serbs, before the one in Brussels with Belgrade.
Drecun's statement to Sputnik:
"He said he would not talk to the Serb List, but he did not say who he would talk to. The individuals he is talking to are not representatives of the Serb political forces, and therefore they do not have a mandate to speak on behalf of the Serbian people."
Drecun also said that with this strategy, Kurti is trying to avoid dialogue with Belgrade.

In which case, we should emphasize what is common between us, and these are the lack of jobs, the lack of justice, but also the various common professions that we have daily problems with, especially in the socio-economic field. Instead of the dialogue in Brussels with closed doors, a diplomatic dialogue where the heads of state are invited to sell the eventual agreement to the respective peoples when they return to their countries. We should insist on an open social democratic dialogue before reconciliation for development."
