The Albanian-language news outlet "EuroNews" has published an article on its portal claiming that Albanian fans have failed to secure tickets for the European football championship, Euro 2024.
The same thing is claimed in both the title and the content of the article.
After verification by hibrid.info, it was realized that the claim is generalized and that concrete data supporting it is lacking.

Hibrid.info has researched sources that confirm the number of tickets sold for the participating countries in Euro 2024.
Based on a UEFA announcement, hibrid.info has found that the largest European football federation has allocated a certain number of tickets to each federation participating in the championship and that they will be distributed depending on how the respective federations wish to sell tickets to their fans (see here).

Meanwhile, fans who did not meet the criteria set by their national football federations or who did not support a particular team had the opportunity to secure tickets through an application in the lottery announced by UEFA. The deadline for applications has been extended until 12 December 2023, for which it has been indicated that applicants have already been informed about this application, while there is no data indicating which countries have benefited most from the lottery (see here).
All that was found by hibrid.info is an article that shows the countries from which there were the most applicants. The announcement shows that in addition to fans from Germany, fans supporting Turkey, Hungary, England, Albania and Croatia requested more tickets (see here).
Also, in a post on a Facebook page dedicated to Albanian football, named "Albania Team", hibrid.info found among the comments, several images that show and prove successful applications by Albanian fans in the announced UEFA lottery (see here).
