The Albanian-language Facebook page "Jepi zë" published on March 3 several images showing a flag hanging over an object.
Through the caption attached to the published images, it is claimed that the flag of the Russian state has been placed in the Zvecan Castle.
However, after verification of the facts conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that this claim is not true and that in fact the flag placed at the Zvecan Fortress is of Serbia.

Hibrid.info, analyzing the images published by the aforementioned site, has found details that clearly show that the flag is not of Russia. The detail that confirms this fact is the order of the colors in the flag in the photo, where from top to bottom it is this order; red, blue and white.
Based on the publication of the Serbian flag on the official website of the Serbian government, this order of colors belongs to the Serbian flag. (see here)

Meanwhile, according to the world encyclopedia "britannica.com", the flag of Russia has this order of colors from top to bottom: white, blue and red. (see here)

Commentators on the "Jepi zje" page have also noticed that the flag seen in the published images is the flag of Serbia, and not, as claimed there, that of Russia. (see here)
Analyze:
By publishing images showing a flag over the Zvecan Fortress in northern Kosovo, a Facebook page has falsely claimed that this is the flag of Russia.
Hibrid.info has analyzed the details of the images and has confirmed that the flag in the photograph is in fact that of Serbia and not Russia, as claimed.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this content as "Unverified Content" and "Disinformation".
Reasoning:
The “Unverified” rating is given to those media reports that do not provide sufficient information to confirm the claims made in the report, and which have not been able to confirm the same due to the lack or non-possession of reliable sources.
The "Unverified" rating is given to those informative contents that do not provide sufficient information to confirm the claims made in the report, and which could not be verified due to certain circumstances (speed, lack of sources) during the publication of the content.
"Disinformation" is defined as information content that contains a "mix" of inaccurate sources or even half-truthful attributes, and that is created and/or distributed with the deliberate intention of causing harm. The motive behind the producers/distributors of disinformation content lies in achieving a political, financial, psychological or social goal.
