On page 116 of the IGP report, a specific table of the militarization domain is located, where countries are ranked starting from the most peaceful country (with the lowest degree of e) to the least peaceful country.
The countries there are listed only by name and punctuation, with no ranking numbers noted. However, after automatically counting the rows in the original table via the ChatGPT chatbot, it was found that Kosovo ranks exactly 47th in this index (see here).
Which means that Kosovo's ranking in this index, in terms of militarization, has been incorrectly presented by some media.
But how do countries rank in this index?
The domain of militarization It measures the level of militarization of a state through six indicators: military spending, number of military personnel, import and export of conventional weapons, contribution to UN peacekeeping missions, and nuclear or heavy weapons capabilities.
