A video material is published showing Fatmir Limaj, the chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative, stating that he thinks the Vetëvendosje Movement will have a higher result than the one it had before the last parliamentary elections (February 9).
it CONTENT was posted on Wednesday (December 17) on TikTok by an account named "cari1_.fat".
What's wrong with the content?
Limaj's statement has not been published in full.

As of the time of writing, this video has received over 145 thousand views and over 200 comments, from the content of which it can be assessed that Limaj's statement was understood as his final statement on the possible outcome of the elections that the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) will receive in these elections.
Limaj's transcribed statement from the video:
"I think that Mr. Kurti will have an even higher result than he had in the elections, not these (February 9, 2025) but in the previous ones (February 14, 2021)."
Hibrid.info found this sequence was taken from an interview Limaj had on December 16 for "Kanal 10" television (see here).
A video titled, "A video clip of a woman who was raped by a man'If AAK and Nisma are not in Parliament, Kurti will have more than 50% of the vote'", from where hibrid.info found that the video being discussed was taken (see here).
Based on the content of the video and the title, hibrid.info found that Limaj, in his statement, conditions the victory of LVV with over 50%, on whether or not the entity he leads and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) enter parliament.
After Limaj provides a more extensive elaboration of the conclusion he presents, hibrid.info found an article published on the portal of this television station "gazeta10.com", from which it extracted Limaj's more concise statement on this issue (see here).
Limaj's statement excerpted from the "gazeta10.com" article:
"If we get six MPs and the Alliance crosses the threshold by getting six MPs, there could be even more, somewhere between 12 and 14 MPs. That's how the difference is created. Otherwise, if this doesn't happen, I think Mr. Kurti will have an even higher result than in the first elections."
What does it confirm? se The video published on TikTok presented a disjointed and incomplete statement by Fatmir Limaj, which, without the full context, creates the false impression that he is giving a final assessment of the LVV's electoral result for the December 28 parliamentary elections.
Analyze:
Fatmir Limaj's statement that the Vetëvendosje Movement will have a higher result than in the previous elections is incomplete.
The video in question only shows part of Limaj's statement, while his explanation that a result over 50% for LVV depends on whether or not Nisma and AAK enter the Assembly is not included.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses the content as "Manipulation of facts".
Reasoning:
“Factual manipulation” is a rating given to informational content that uses facts known to be accurate but interprets them in a distorted manner. These reports typically use accurate information to draw incorrect conclusions or claims, thereby misleading consumers of media content about the actual meaning of the facts presented.
