The Serbian edition of the Russian media outlet "Sputnik" (sputnikportal.rs), has published an article claiming that the Government in Pristina has begun the final phase of closing down everything Serbian in Kosovo.

"Sputnik" bases the claim on several statements by the former chairman of the Serbian Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo, now MP, Milovan Drecun.

What does Drecun say?

The arrest of Serbian doctors, the filing of charges against them, the closure of clinics, pharmacies, the seizure of medicines coming from Serbia is part of Albin Kurti's plan to forcibly integrate all Serbian institutions into the so-called Kosovo system. The West is silent about all this, which gives Kurti a free hand to close down Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija one by one.

This is a summary of Milovan Drecun's statements, according to "sputnikportal.rs".

The article talks about the raid and subsequent closure of a Serbian NGO on January 31 of this year, which had operated for years in a building, an annex of the Qendër Police Station in Pristina.

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, on February 1 of this year, announced the raid carried out on January 31, 2024 in this facility. The announcement stated that the raid took place after receiving information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs that in the facility - annex of the Qendra Police Station in Pristina - "an NGO is operating illegally".

"...in coordination with the Kosovo Police - Regional Investigation Directorate in Pristina and in cooperation with Kosovo Customs and the Health Inspectorate, a search was conducted at the aforementioned premises, during which it was determined that medical services were being provided illegally in this facility, and two persons were interviewed as suspects and several others as witnesses," the Prosecution's announcement said. "Specifically, the Serious Crimes Department has completed the investigations regarding this criminal case and, after collecting evidence, has filed an indictment against two defendants who are suspected of having committed two criminal offenses, that of practicing illegal medical activity and the production and distribution of harmful medical products," stated the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution in Pristina, Laureta Ulaj.
