Through a TikTok post, it has been claimed that the Democratic League of Kosovo candidate for mayor of Podujeva, Ekrem Hyseni, recently helped a fainted woman on the street.
The claim was published by the account "reflector_", on September 17 (Wednesday).
The truth?
Hibrid.info used the search engine "Google"with the published photo and found that it was a report from four years ago in some Albanian-language media. So the photo is old.

Caption on the photo:
"Coincidentally, Ekrem Hyseni is in the city when a woman suddenly faints. In the absence of medical help, he shows humanity and composure, giving the woman first aid. Thanks to his quick intervention, the lady's condition improves."
Based on the article, it is assumed that this is a recent event.
The publication has received more than 36 thousand views so far and around 600 likes.
How was this photo reported in 2021?
Search by image in "Google” leads to a list of publications. The content was published on August 13, 2021 in several Albanian-language media (see here, here, here and here).
aCCOUNT The TikTok user in question constantly publishes content related to the Democratic League of Kosovo. Most recently, there is content with this party's candidates for mayor in the local elections on October 12.
Analyze:
The presentation as a current event by the "reflektori_" account on TikTok that the LDK candidate for mayor of Podujeva in the October 12 elections, Ekrem Hyseni, helped a fainted woman on the street, is incorrect.
After verification with Google, it turns out that the photo is from 2021 and was reported by several media outlets at the time. So, the material presented is old, while on TikTok it was distributed as if it were current, leading to misinformation.
Based on the working methodology, hibrid.info assesses the claim as "Manipulation of facts".
Reasoning:
“Factual manipulation” is a rating given to informational content that uses facts known to be accurate but interprets them in a distorted manner. These reports typically use accurate information to draw incorrect conclusions or claims, thereby misleading consumers of media content about the actual meaning of the facts presented.
