The information portal "Demokracia.com" has published today (May 18) an article titled "DOCUMENT | The Mayor of Junik buys a car with a speed of 00 km/h, worth about 20 thousand euros".
However, after fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that what is claimed in the title does not correspond to the content.
The content explains that the vehicle was purchased by the institution, in this case the Municipality of Junik, and not by its mayor Ruzhdi Shehu, as claimed in the title.
Also, in the document provided by "Demokracia.com", the name of the mayor does not appear, but only of the Municipality of Junik.
So, based on this document, the vehicle was not purchased by the mayor, but by the institution, and the tender dossier also provided the justification that the vehicle was for the needs of the municipality.

Analyze:
"Demokracia.com" reported on a vehicle purchased by the Municipality of Junik, but in the title of this article it claimed that it was purchased by the mayor of this institution, Ruzhdi Shehu.
However, even in the dossier of this tender, the name of the Municipality of Junik appears as the buyer, and not that of its mayor, as claimed in the title.
