"The latest poll shows this devastating result for the opposition Albin Kurti 71% is the caption set by the account “kosova.albanians” on TikTok on the photograph in which the alleged figures for each party are presented.
What's wrong with this publication?
After verification by hibrid.info, it turns out that the claim that this is a poll is false. The photo shows the prediction made by political analyst Ibrahim Delija on the television show "Debat Plus" on "Dukagjini" television on September 16, as a prediction for the elections of February 9, 2025.
According to his prediction (video), the Vetëvendosje Movement will secure 71 seats in the Kosovo Assembly from the parliamentary elections. The Democratic Party of Kosovo, as predicted by Delija, will take 11 seats, while the Democratic League of Kosovo 10. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and Nisma, as predicted by Delija, will together have 8 seats (AAK 6 and Nisma 2).
The TikTok post from September 17th to the time of review by hibrid.info has received over 21 thousand views, more than 1100 likes and over 250 comments.
About surveys
A survey is a preliminary investigation to determine a situation, opinions, or attitudes about something specific. In this statistical method, results are drawn based on the study of a portion of the population, called a sample.
The two surveys that have been published in recent months are the one in April, when "reporters.net"published some data which it reported were taken from a survey conducted by the company "UBO Consulting" and that of June when "albanianpost.com"published a survey conducted by the company "Source" in collaboration with this portal. The data from the two surveys showed different percentages for the Vetëvendosje Movement.
