The data from this photo agency shows that the photo was taken on December 12, 2008 in Germany, and the description of the photo states: "Corporal John Horn, a Challenger tank operator from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, with fiancée Laura McGee at Wessex Barracks in Bad Fallingbostel, Germany, after returning from Iraq."
The same image that was shared online by foreign media was handled by the French agency "AFP". Even according to "AFP-fact-check", the photo with the claim that a British soldier was killed in Gaza is not true and the agency has not found "no trace of any British general named Alexander Emmanuel."
