In a Facebook post, it was claimed that Rifat Jashari received the Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, after tensions at his party's rally in Skenderaj on January 27, as part of the campaign for the February 9 parliamentary elections.
The claim of the account "World News" continues with the sentence that Adem Jashari's family "once again proved that they are on the side of Vetëvendosje and Albin Kurti."

The truth?
After verifying the facts, it turns out that the claim is false - the photo is old and that the family of the commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Adem Jashari, has declared that it is not included in the electoral process for the parliamentary elections of February 9, 2025.
"Rifat Jashari comes out to meet Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Skenderaj, after some PDK militants wanted to cancel the Vetvendosje rally in Skenderaj. The heroic family of Adem Jashari once again proved that they are on the side of Vetvendosje and Albin Kurti." says the claim of the "World News" page.
Hibrid.info using the automated program “InVID” has found that the photo used in this claim was published in March 2023, within the framework of the notes of the “Epopee of the KLA”. (see here and here)
As for the claim that Kurti was received by Jashari after the tensions in Skenderaj, it was not found in any credible media even after searching the online engine.Google".
Meanwhile, the claim that Adem Jashari's family has shown support for Vetëvendosje and Albin Kurti is not based on facts. Bekim Jashari, Hamëz Jashari's son, stated on December 11 that his family "remains steadfast in its stance to stay out of active involvement in political parties and electoral processes" (see hereThe reaction was made after reports that his sister, Besarta Jashari, will be a candidate for MP in the February 9 elections.
What happened in Skenderaj?
On the evening of January 27, several citizens protested in front of the premises where the Vetëvendosje Movement and its leader Albin Kurti were scheduled to hold a rally. According to footage published online, the police intervened in the protesters' action. (see here)
Analyze:
A Facebook post claims that Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, was received by Rifat Jashari after tensions at his party's rally in Skenderaj on February 27. The claim goes on to emphasize that this proves that the family of KLA commander Adem Jashari is on Vetëvendosje's side.
But after verifying the facts, it turns out that the alleged photo, in which Kurti is seen with Rifat Jashari, is from 2023. Likewise, the Jashari family has taken the stance that it will continue to remain out of active involvement in political parties and electoral processes.
