The Facebook page named "Personal Loan" has published posts falsely claiming to present them as online loan-taking campaigns.
In the “about” section, an address in Paris is presented where the creator of this page claims to be the headquarters of this suspicious activity, and the places where it supposedly operates in cities such as Tirana, Munich and Pristina. In addition to this data, this page also has an e-mail “duanemelissa85@gmail.com”. (see here)
Hibrid.info, after verifying the facts, has noticed that this site uses campaigns from financial institutions in Kosovo, whose logos it removes, claiming to present them as its own.
On May 19, the aforementioned page, which has over 3 followers, published a post with the caption "Agricultural Loan €25,000 Apply online and save time." (see here)
After research conducted through the automated online program “InVID”, hibrid.info has managed to find that this campaign is from the microcredit institution in Kosovo “Kreditimi Rural i Kosova – KRK”. (see here)
So, the "Personal Loan" page used the KRK campaign photo, from which it removed the logo, claiming to present it as its own. (see comparison photos below)
This page also posted another campaign on Facebook on May 31st with the caption "BUSINESS LOAN Up to €25,000 Apply Online". (see here)
Hibrid.info has managed to confirm that the campaign for this loan is from the microfinance institution in Kosovo "Finca", published on May 23. (see here)
Also, the page "Personal Loans" has intervened in this photo by removing the logo of this microfinance institution, claiming to appropriate it. (see comparison photos below)
Another element that should be mentioned in this case is that this page was previously registered with the user “/financiaurrjente”, which has now been deleted. (see here)
Now, this page, which continues to bear the same name, is registered with the user "/krediprivate". (see here)
This is not the first time that hibrid.info has addressed posts made by this site, which has previously tried to appropriate the campaigns of banks and microfinance institutions. (see here and here)
Analyze:
After verification of the facts conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the "Personal Loan" page, which has over 3 thousand followers, falsely claims to offer online loans of up to 500 thousand, by taking the campaigns of financial institutions in Kosovo, which it tries to appropriate, removing their authentic logos.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info has rated this site as "Scam".
