Students of the Hybrid Lab project held their latest information session with the founder of the Hibrid.info platform, Shkelzen Osmani. With a wealth of experience in the field of information verification, Osmani helped students understand the different forms of information disorder and how to identify them.
The training participants have been intensively prepared to understand the importance of fact-checking in today’s digital environment. Through Osman’s guidance, they have developed new skills to identify and address misinformation online. Now, equipped with new knowledge, Hybrid Lab students are ready to bring original ideas and innovative solutions to combat disinformation.
He also encouraged the training participants to continue working on innovative solutions and contribute to improving the quality of information on the Internet.
The students' engagement in the project will continue. They are now left with the task of proposing ideas for creating applications that will help combat misinformation on the internet.
The 5 best ideas will be awarded $5000 each by the US Embassy in Kosovo, where through these funds they will have the opportunity to realize and launch their applications or tools.
During this journey, the 5 winning groups will not lack mentoring from Hybrid Lab experts, until the final step, which is the full realization of the idea.
