A video has been released showing Naim Tërnava, the head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), where he is heard presenting a possible cure for diabetes.
The video was published on Facebook by a page called "Satslospejo Flantsperpro".
What's wrong with the content?
content in question has a high probability of being generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

Transcripted video

Click the “learn more” button immediately and see how Allah can cure you.”
Hibrid.info initially searched Facebook to verify whether an account in Tërnavës' name existed. This search did not find any profile that identified itself as the official account of the head of BIK (see here). However, hibrid.info found his personal website. There was no evidence that Tërnava promotes any medicine for the treatment of diabetes (see here).
The research was then expanded to the official website and Facebook page of the religious institution he leads. No position, statement or information was found in these sources that would confirm the content discussed, or the claims presented in the post (see here and here).
To find out if this content might have been published elsewhere, it was also checked through the automated search program “InVID.” But nothing similar was found.
Due to the unnaturalness observed in the content, the video was also analyzed through the "HiveModeration.com" tool, in order to assess its possible generation or manipulation with artificial technology.
Analysis conducted through this tool has shown a high probability that the audio was generated with artificial intelligence (AI).

Given this reason, hibrid.info initially analyzed directly publishing page on Facebook to see if the video edited with artificial intelligence (Deepfake) appeared as content in the account's space.
After confirming that this specific post was not on the page's profile, the verification was moved to the Meta Ad Library. This second search revealed that the page in question is active in using paid ads for other campaigns. However, this specific video is missing from the paid ads in Kosovo (see here).
As part of the investigation, the page that distributed the content was also verified. Its information revealed that it is called “Satslospejo Flantsperpro”, categorized as a local business and created on June 17, 2026. The page appears to be active in distributing advertisements, which indicates that it is used for promotional purposes. This YOUR There are no posts displayed.

But, what is the role of BIK as a religious institution and what is Naim Tërnava's professional preparation as a leader?
in website of this institution writes that the Islamic Community of Kosovo is an independent institution of Muslims of the Republic of Kosovo and the Presevo Valley. "This community aims to organize the Islamic religious life of Muslims in Kosovo. The Islamic Community of Kosovo is the originator, carrier, presenter, preacher and implementer of Islamic religious life in Kosovo," it says on the website, in the "About us" section.
Meanwhile, for the biography of Tërnava, writes that he is the mufti of Kosovo and leader of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) since 2003. He completed his studies in the field of Islamic theology at the "Al-Azhar" University in Cairo and has exercised various functions within the BIK system, including the imamate, the direction of the "Alaudin" Madrasa and academic engagement as a lecturer in Islamic studies.
Which means that neither BIK nor Naim Tërnava, in addition to not having published the content in question, also have no functions or competencies in the field of medicine.
For this reason, hibrid.info checked the information sources of the relevant institutions.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin or does not use it properly. Insulin is a hormone that regulates the level of sugar (glucose) in the blood. When this is disrupted, sugar builds up in the blood and over time can damage the heart, kidneys, eyes, and nerves.
The organization emphasizes that diabetes does not heal completely in most cases, but it can be controlled and managed (see here).
Meanwhile, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) states that diabetes is a chronic non-communicable disease characterized by increased blood sugar (glucose) levels as a result of impaired insulin production or function in the body. The institute emphasizes that diabetes can be prevented and managed through physical activity, healthy nutrition, maintaining body weight, avoiding tobacco and alcohol, stress management, regular medical check-ups, and receiving therapy according to medical instructions (see here).
In this context, the content addressed contradicts the guidelines of the National Institute of Public Health and the WHO, as it presents claims of "complete recovery within 24 hours" and non-medical solutions, which are not supported by any health authority.
Analyze:
The headline and the published video claim that the head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), Naim Tërnava, promises a method for completely curing diabetes within 24 hours.
From fact-checking and analyzing the material with artificial intelligence tools (such as HiveModeration), it turns out that the video is manipulated and the audio was generated through AI.
Furthermore, the publishing site is suspicious, has no organic posts, and uses Meta's Ad Library for promotional purposes.
Also, the claims presented are in complete contradiction with the health authorities (WHO and NIPHK), which confirm that diabetes is a chronic disease that cannot be cured within 24 hours.
Therefore, based on the working methodology, hibrid.info assesses this content as "Fraud".
Reasoning:
The “Deception” rating is given to informational content that is manipulated in terms of visual (deepfake, cheapfake), audio, or textual content to deceive the audience. This form of deception is usually used to produce false and manipulated content.
