Several Serbian-language media outlets published articles yesterday (January 17) about the vandalism at the Church of Saint Sava in Kragujevac with numerous graffiti, claiming that some of it was written in Albanian.
In the photographs distributed in the media regarding the case, it can be seen that on the eastern side of the Church of Saint Sava in Kragujevac, in the surrounding area and on the walls of the building, inscriptions were written, "Serbia ♥ Albania", "Kosovo is Serbia", "Allahu akbar", "Isusu akbar"...
Based on the distributed photographs, hibrid.info has determined that there were no inscriptions in Albanian.

Parts of the article published in Albanian-language media:
Yesterday afternoon, the church in the Aerodrom settlement in Kragujevac was desecrated. On the facade of the church, as well as on the church gate, there were, among other things, messages in the Albanian language.
Based on the graffiti written on the walls and the alley in the courtyard of the Church of Saint Sava in Kragujevac, it was claimed that among them there were also those in the Albanian language. Among the inscriptions there is also a place for "Serbia ♥ Albania", which would have been an indicator of the claim made. However, this claim turns out to be unfounded, being related to the language used. It is known that the name "Albania" of Albania is the way in which some countries/nations refer to it. So, it is not Albanians who refer to their country as "Albania", but as "Albania". (here)
Furthermore, language cannot be an indicator to identify the perpetrator and the motive of the crime.
Hibrid.info, after reviewing all the photographs available from the media, estimates that no inscriptions written in Albanian were observed.
The above claim of the Serbian-language media has also been addressed by the fact-checker from Serbia, “Fake News Tragač”. The treatment was done based on the assistance of the editor-in-chief of Radio Zlatousti, Gordana Jocić, whose editorial office is located in the church itself, and a graduate in Albanology, who assessed the language used in the graffiti. (here)
"The news was broadcast on RTS after 'he wrote graffiti in Albanian'. What is problematic in this story is that nothing is written in Albanian. This was said by a Serbian albanologist. Namely, as reported on N1 (and other portals, as well as on RTS), the author wrote 'Serbia Albania', which is in English, not Albanian. If it were written in that language, then it would read either 'Serbi Shqipëria' or 'Serbia Shqipëria', explains FakeNews reader Tragač.

Several Serbian-language media outlets published articles yesterday (January 17) about vandalism at the Church of Saint Sava in Kragujevac with numerous graffiti, and some claimed that among them there were inscriptions in Albanian.
Hibrid.info, after verifying the photos distributed in connection with the event, has determined that the graffiti made in the area of the St. Savannah Church in Kragujevac did not contain any inscriptions in Albanian.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses that the claim is "misinformation".
