HIBRID

In an effort to combat disinformation and increase the quality of information in the digital environment, Professor Blerim Rexha held a training with students as part of the Hybrid Lab project. This project aims to bring innovative solutions to address the ever-growing challenges of disinformation in the most efficient way.

Professor Rexha, a renowned figure in the field of data security and internet services, is a professor at the University of Pristina, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Kosovo. With a long experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of technology, he is the ideal trainer and mentor for such an initiative.

The participants of the Hybrid Lab are students from several different scientific disciplines such as journalism, information and computer technology, and social sciences. With the help of Professor Rexha, they are ready to develop and apply original ideas to create advanced solutions against online disinformation.

The Hybrid Lab project is supported by the United States Embassy in Pristina and aims to use technology to raise public awareness of misinformation. With a team of 30 passionate participants, the project aims to use innovation and technology to create effective tools and applications to combat disinformation.

After training with professionals in the field, students will present their ideas for innovative applications and tools that aim to improve the quality of information on the Internet. One of the most stimulating aspects of the project is the awarding of the best proposals, where the 5 selected ideas will win up to 5000 US dollars to further develop and implement their initiatives. Through this project, students have a unique opportunity to change the way information is distributed and to contribute to the creation of a safer and more impartial environment on the Internet.
