A photo has been published on TikTok claiming to represent a new poll in the race for mayor of Kaçanik for the local elections on October 12.
"The latest survey for the Municipality of Kaçanik" is written in the caption of the photo published by the account "kaqaniku.press” on Sunday (September 14). In the table presented, Heset Malsiu leads as an independent candidate with 36%, Jeton Raka of the Vetëvendosje Movement is second with 31%, Sabedin Vishin from the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 27% and Betim Shala from the Democratic League of Kosovo with 5 percent. 1% has been allocated to “others”.

For this publication, the account in question did not mention any credible sources.

In the race for mayor of Kaçanik, according to list verified by the Central Election Commission, there are 7 candidates – Hafize Sallahi from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ahmet Vishi as an independent candidate, Shukri Luta from the Independent Movement of Kaçanik, Jeton Raka from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Betim Shala from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Sabedin Vishi from the Democratic Party of Kosovo and Heset Malsiu from the Vision for the Development of Kaçanik.
The current chairman is Besim Ilazi from the Democratic Party of Kosovo. In the last elections (2021) he won against Jeton Raka of Vetëvendosje, in second round.
