Alban Zeneli leads training on journalism and information: Students prepare to fight disinformation

HIBRID

In an important initiative to improve the quality of information and combat disinformation in the digital environment, Professor Alban Zeneli led a special training with Hybrid Lab students. Since students from other fields besides journalism are also part of this project, Zeneli brought them the basic knowledge about journalism and information.

Through the training, the students had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about important journalism issues and to develop their skills in evaluating information. With the help of Professor Zeneli, they gained the necessary knowledge to come up with original ideas and contribute to the fight against information disorder in the digital environment.

By participating in the Hybrid Lab project, this group of students is in the right place to combat online disinformation. Their training was conducted under the guidance of media and technology experts, with the aim of creating innovative ideas to combat this growing problem.

After completing the training, they will face the challenge of presenting their ideas for creating applications or tools that will help in the fight against disinformation.

In addition to the knowledge that participating students are gaining, the 5 best idea proposals will each receive 5000 US dollars to realize them. During this challenge, Hybrid Lab experts will be by their side, offering mentorship and assistance in realizing their innovative ideas.

The Hybrid Lab project, supported by the US Embassy in Pristina, aims to raise public awareness about the impact of information disorder on society. With an approach focused on innovation and improving the quality of information on the internet, this project hopes to bring about major changes.
