During internet searches, hibrid.info found Prime Minister Kurti's statement broadcast on February 19, on the television show "Diary" on the US international broadcaster in Kosovo "Voice of America". (see here)
The country's Prime Minister when speaking about the February 1 decision to ban the circulation of the Serbian dinar (here) says "We have a new regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo, which the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, according to the Constitution and the Law, has the duty to support."
Even when talking about relations with the US, Kurti states that "our relations, our cooperation with the United States of America is very good, we are partners, allies and friends. This does not mean that we agree absolutely every time, in every country, on everything", and never between the lines does it say "I ask the Bank of Kosovo, not the US", as claimed in the aforementioned portals.
