Content has been published claiming that from June 2024, people over the age of 50 in Kosovo will receive a refund of between 63% and 91% of their electricity bills.
The claim was made via an image link, published (June 19) as sponsored by a page named "Connie" on Facebook.
Is the claim correct?
Although the logo of the Republic of Kosovo is visible in the published image, hibrid.info has found that there is no official institutional decision that offers the claimed opportunity.

Hibrid.info has found that after clicking on the above link, the displayed website does not provide any application options for what is claimed in the announcement. From the information presented, the name of the institution, organization or business that the website represents is missing and no connection with the institutions of Kosovo is proven (see here).
To verify how credible this website is, hibrid.info has checked the platform that assesses the reliability of websites, “ScamAdviser.com”. The data shows that the checked website has low reliability (see here).
Hibrid.info has also investigated the Facebook page that published the alleged announcement. A small number of posts were noted in the timeline of this page (here), while data about the activity is missing (here).
Information found about the "Connie" page shows that it was created on May 10, 2024, while the location of the two people who manage the page turns out to be Bangladesh.
Furthermore, the only option for reimbursement of electricity bills, found by hibrid.info, is the possibility of applying for vulnerable families, which have started to be subsidized since January of this year (see here).
