An image is published with the caption that presents a statement by Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State of the United States of America (USA).
In the Facebook post, in the group named "SOVEREIGN REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO, EDGE BY EDGE (Elez Neziraj Group)", it was claimed that she expressed her appreciation for the governance of the incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
it CONTENT was published on Saturday (August 1) by an account that goes by the name "Faik E. Telaku".
What's wrong with the content?
The submitted statement is fabricated.
By the time of treatment, the content had over 4,700 reactions, over 350 comments, and over 480 shares.
Because it used a familiar pattern of statements, often fabricated, that serve to elevate local politicians through international figures (here), the content seemed suspicious.
Therefore, hibrid.info initially researched the content using “Google Lens” (see here). The results found that the same image was published on Facebook, by an account named “Ismet Korqa”, in December 2025, in another public group (see here). The research did not turn up any credible sources that would confirm the claim.
Although the content does not specify the time of the alleged statement, hibrid.info checked the Facebook account of the former Secretary of State (see here). Because the claim was published in August, Clinton's account was checked for content published during that month. Of those that are public, no comments were found by the former US first lady about the governance in Kosovo.
Then, the search continued using the "Google" search engine, where the entire inscription shown in the image was used as a keyword (see here). In addition to posting content to other public groups on Facebook, from these two accounts mentioned in this article (see here and here), nor from this search was any source of information found that would confirm what is claimed.
To make the research more specific, a Google search was also conducted with the keywords "hillary clinton albin kurti" (see here). This search only returned articles reporting a photo taken of former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti with former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton (see here and here).
The photo was taken in 2022 at the funeral of Madeline Albright, who served as former Secretary of State during President Clinton's second term. However, at the time, it was not reported that either of the Clintons had commented on the governance of Kosovo.
Likewise, searching this search engine with the words "hillary clinton kosovo" did not yield any results confirming the claim (see here).
