Facebook page “New Newspaper" published a post on Friday (May 8) with the caption "THE GOVERNMENT DECIDES TO DISTRIBUTE 100 EUROS TO PENSIONERS".
This page, in the description of the post, has also included a link which contains the article with the same title.
What's wrong with this post?
After verifying the facts by hibrid.info, it turns out that the claim is false.

FACTS
After opening the article, at the end of the text it says that "This happened in Macedonia", implying that it is about a decision by the Government of North Macedonia to allocate 100 euros to pensioners.
However, research conducted by hibrid.info in credible sources and media reports has not found any information confirming such a decision by the Macedonian authorities (see here).
The only reported development regarding pensions in North Macedonia is that of March 19, when the Parliament of this country approved amendments to the law on pensions, with which pensions were increased linearly by 1000 denars, or about 16-17 euros (see here and here).
Furthermore, the “Gazeta Re” page mainly publishes content related to developments in Kosovo. This has led many readers to create the wrong impression that this is a decision by the Government of Kosovo. (see here).
Analyze
A Facebook page published the claim that "The Government allocates 100 euros for pensioners", creating the impression that it was referring to Kosovo. After verification, hibrid.info did not find any such decision.
The article only mentions at the end that the news is related to North Macedonia, but after research conducted online it was confirmed that this is not correct. Credible reports only speak of a pension increase of around 16-17 euros, not 100 euros.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this content as "Fake News".
rationale
The “Fake News” rating is given to informational content that is entirely fabricated or that contains factually incorrect claims or information. Content that is rated as fake news can be defined as having been created and distributed with the intent to misinform the public, i.e., to present a claim that is completely false as fact.
