What's wrong with the content?
The photo that Plassnik shared, with the caption "Photos of Dejona Mihajli with the Prime Minister of Serbia emerge!", which shows the coordinator for committees in the Vetëvendosje Movement, Dejona Mihaili, and the speaker of the Serbian parliament, Ana Brnabić, is generated with artificial intelligence (AI).
As of the time of writing, the content has over 140 likes and over 160 comments, while the page that published it has nearly 290 thousand followers (see here).
The post also contains a link to a video published on Saturday (December 20) on the YouTube channel of the show "Kojshia Show", with the title "Agim Plashniku reveals photo of Dejona Mihali with former Serbian Prime Minister Bernabic" (see here).
This video was taken from the interview conducted by Plassnik on this show and has been published separately (see here).
Because the photo showing Plassnik appears to have been printed from a TikTok post, hibrid.info checked using the automated search program "InVID" and found that the photo showing Mihali and Brnabić was published on Facebook by the page "Shadërvanit" and accounts with the names "Afrim Delija"and "Bashkim Gashi".
The same was also found and published on TikTok by accounts with the names "hajrush.ismaili”And“deli.zeneli".
The image is also found in comments on various Facebook posts (see here).
Hibrid.info checked using the search engine "Google", with the keywords "Dejona Mihali and Ana Brnabic", but did not come across a reliable article that would confirm the meeting between Mihal and Brnabić (see here).
Based on the fact that there are no credible sources that can confirm this meeting, hibrid.info checked the authenticity of the photo, using the "HiveModeration" platform, which assesses whether content is generated by AI.
The results displayed after verification indicate a high likelihood that the image contains AI-generated content or deepfake.
