At the Bonevet premises in Mitrovica, the training on combating disinformation provided participants with essential knowledge about the types of information disorder. Discussing disinformation, fake news, manipulation of facts, deception, errors and conspiracy theories, participants agreed on a profound improvement in the skills to identify and confront the phenomenon of false information. Also, forms of control and verification of photos and videos, as well as photos generated with artificial intelligence, were discussed by practicing through the digital tools used to do so.
Funded by the Embassy of the United States of America, this project aims to raise awareness and empower the local community to combat disinformation and information manipulation in their immediate environment.
