Insight Analysis is an AI-powered application designed to analyze and evaluate articles, identifying whether they use "clickbait" - headlines crafted to attract clicks through exaggerated or misleading information. Users can input any news link into the platform and receive a quick, detailed analysis of the credibility of the information they are reading.
This app uses advanced natural language processing algorithms to analyze the structure and content of the headline compared to the article's content, as well as factors like geolocation and publication time. By comparing this data with known clickbait patterns, it provides a probability score indicating whether the headline is deceptive. This empowers users to be more cautious about content that may be unfounded or exaggerated.
In Hibrid.info's latest annual report, Behind the Screens, clickbait was identified as the most widespread form of misinformation in Kosovo's digital infosphere, based on assessment methodology and gathered statistics. This highlights the urgent need for intervention to protect audiences from falling victim to this type of misinformation. As part of HibridLAB's mission and workflow, the creation of this AI-based application was deemed essential. It is built on a database developed over years by Hibrid.info and applies the strict evaluation methodology certified by international fact-checking networks.
