An article has been published, titled "A person escapes from Gjilan prison".
The news was published by Radio Star's portal, "radiostargjilan.com", on May 17 of this year.
What is the truth?
After verification by hibrid.info, it was found that this is an arrested person who had escaped in July 2023.

The article with the same title was also found published on the television portal "teve1.info" (see here).
Based on the comments published on the Facebook post of this article, hibrid.info estimates that there is a possibility that the information published in the title will be taken for granted by readers (see here).
But, at the top of the article, the information is disclosed when it is stated that "A person has been arrested after the same person managed to escape from prison in Gjilan the day before.".
According to the Kosovo Police report, referred to in the article, the arrested suspect had escaped from Gjilan prison on July 15, 2023.
Kosovo Police Reportis:
"15.07.2023 – 15:40. On 16.05.2024, police units managed to arrest the Kosovar male suspect who was on the run. During the time he was on the run, two cases were initiated against the suspect for threatening two Kosovar victims. During the search, 38.92 gr. of suspected hashish-type narcotic substance were found in the suspect's possession and confiscated, for which a special case was opened. The suspect, after being interviewed by the prosecutor's decision, was taken into custody."
Also, hibrid.info has found a report from the print media, confirming that it concerns the arrest of the person who had escaped in July last year (see here and here).
