The Albanian-language Kosovar online media outlet "Demokracia.com" has published an article claiming that the Minister of Education, Science and Technology (MES), Arbërie Nagavci, has employed her daughter at the Ministry of Finance (MF).
In the article published yesterday (May 24), it is alleged that Minister Nagavci's daughter, Mirjeta Nagavci, was employed at the Ministry of Finance as a Senior Officer for Coordination and Assistance to the Committee for PPP and PAs, during the short mandate of the LVV-LDK coalition government in 2020.
However, Minister Nagavci herself reacted to this, confirming that her daughter was hired in January 2020, a few days before the mandate of the LVV-LDK coalition government began, with Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Further in the article, several documents are presented, such as Minister Nagavci's asset declaration for 2020 and 2021 to the Anti-Corruption Agency (AKK). It can be seen that, unlike in 2020, she had also declared her daughter's salary as income in the relevant form for 2021.
However, in the structure of this article, no additional facts have been presented, such as the employment contract, or facts proving the date of employment of Mirjeta Nagavci.
Such facts, at least in appearance, have been presented on her Facebook profile by Minister Arbërie Nagavci, attempting to question the claim of the medium "Demokracia.com" (here).
In her response immediately after the article was published, Nagavci presented copies of the act appointing her daughter, Mirjeta, to this position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In her justification, Nagavci said that her daughter's appointment to this position was made on January 20, 2020, a few days before the "Kurti 1 Government" mandate began (February 3, 2020) (here), and not during the period of the LVV-LDK coalition's governing mandate, as claimed by the author of the article.

Nagavci explained that his daughter's appointment was made as part of the "Young Cell Scheme" (YSC) scholarship project for studying abroad, a project that obliges the beneficiaries of these scholarships to return to the country and contribute to public institutions after completing their studies.

Analyze:
The claim made by "Demokracia.com" that the Minister of Education, Science and Culture, Arbërie Nagavci, has employed her daughter in the "Kurti 1 Government" is unfounded.
Furthermore, this claim has been rejected by the minister, who has presented copies of the appointment act, which prove the opposite.
For this reason, based on the hibrid.info methodology, this article is rated as "Unverified Content".
Reasoning:
The “Unverified” rating is given to those media reports that do not provide sufficient information to confirm the claims made in the report, and which have not been able to confirm the same due to the lack or non-possession of reliable sources.
