Through a photo published on TikTok, it has been claimed that the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, supports the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate, Bedri Hamza, for prime minister of Kosovo.
The claim was made by the account “partiademokratike88” on TikTok on November 28.
The truth?
After verification by hibrid.info, it turns out that the claim is not based on facts.
"Prime Minister Rama also supports Prof. Dr. Bedri Hamza for Prime Minister", says the caption that this account put on a photo showing Hamza and Rama.

The photo was taken from Hamza's Facebook account. On November 27, he wrote about meeting with Rama for the November 28 holiday.
"In Tirana, meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama for the great holiday of November 28. We stand united, as we have always been, to honor our heritage and to work together for our future. When Kosovo and Albania are well, all Albanians are #well, wherever they live!" Hamza wrote on Facebook on Post for the meeting with Rama. During his stay in Albania, Hamza also met with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj (notification).
Hibrid.info, through online search engines, has not been able to find any article in which Rama has offered support for Hamza (see here). There is also no credible article reporting that Rama supports any candidate in the upcoming general elections in Kosovo (see here).

In late March, the Democratic Party of Kosovo presented Bedri Hamza as its candidate for prime minister. Hamza is currently the mayor of South Mitrovica. Parliamentary elections are scheduled for February 9, 2025.
Analyze:
The TikTok account "partiademokratike88" has published a photo of PDK's candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, and Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, from a meeting on November 28. The account in question, without facts, captioned it that Rama supports the PDK candidate for the elections.
But hibrid.info has not found any article about Rama's alleged support for Hamza or any other candidate.
