Serbian language channel on Telegram "BUNKER” (BUNKER), through a post published on December 13, claims that “Albanians knocked down and destroyed two tombstones in the new Orthodox cemetery in Plemetin, near Obiliq.”

The truth?

This post does not provide any facts that would support the claim that the perpetrators of this crime were Albanians.

After conducting online research, hibrid.info found that the Kosovo Police, through a post on its official Facebook page (December 16), announced that six suspects (5 of them minors) had been arrested for the crime of damaging cemeteries or corpses. (see here)

However, the ethnic affiliation of the suspects was not disclosed in this announcement.

On December 13, the Serbian language media outlet "Album" also reported on this event.Rts.rs". However, this report does not mention the ethnicity of the perpetrators of this crime.

Excerpt from the article published on Rts.rs, translated into Albanian:

Unknown persons destroyed and demolished two tombstones in the new Orthodox cemetery in Plemetin, near Obiliq, and residents of that Serb-majority village notified the police to find and punish the perpetrators.

Analyze:

The Serbian Telegram channel “БУНКЕР” (BUNKER) claimed that Albanians have toppled and destroyed two tombstones at the new Orthodox cemetery in Plemetin, near Obiliq.

However, this claim does not provide any facts or evidence that proves that the perpetrators were Albanians.

Kosovo Police announced on December 16 that six people suspected of damaging cemeteries or corpses had been arrested, but the official announcement did not mention the ethnicity of the suspects.

Based on the working methodology, hibrid.info evaluates this claim as a "Conspiracy Theory".

Reasoning:

"Conspiracy theories" are considered to be informational content that contains a false or unverifiable description of a phenomenon, event or person, presenting it as part or the result of a secret plan ("conspiracy"). The characteristic of these contents is that they present a series of claims, presented as facts, between which cause-effect relationships are established, without providing any reliable evidence.
