A link has been published in the form of a photograph with the caption in English "Vehbi Kajtazi did not know that the microphone was on, and we said goodbye forever"which in Albanian means "Vehbi Kajtazi didn't know the microphone was on and we said goodbye to him forever.".
The photo, which takes the form of an article written on the "PrishtinaInsight.com" portal, was published yesterday (August 25) by a Facebook page named "Urelirippar".
What is the truth?
Hibrid.info has found that this content represents a fictitious interview between the moderator of the show "Intervista e Buzhalës", Berat Buzhala, who invited the director of the medium "Paparaci.com", Vehbi Kajtazi, where he talks about an alleged cryptocurrency platform called "Nearest Edge".
It is not the first time that similar content has been encountered and handled by hibrid.info (see here, here and here).
Link published in image form from the "Urelirippar" Facebook page:

The clicked link displays an article titled "The Bank of Kosovo is suing Vehbi Kajtazi for what he said on live television". The text is presented as an imitation of the website of the medium, "Telegrafi.com".
The article reports on a public statement by Vehbi Kajtazi that was allegedly made on the show "Intervista e Buzhalës", where he allegedly spoke about the method of enrichment through the online platform "Nearest Edge".
Hibrid.info has researched through search engines and found the only interviews where Kajtazi spoke about the show in question, which was found on the official channel of the portal "Nacionale.com", on Youtube, published on January 23, 2023. The interview, from which and from which they were excerpted images of this article, is published in two parts and does not discuss the alleged way of getting rich (see here and here).
Hibrid.info has also checked the search engine "Google" for the claim of a possible lawsuit by the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK, (referred to in the article as the Bank of Kosovo) against journalist Vehbi Kajtazi, but has not found any credible source confirming it (see here).
Also, hibrid.info has verified the reliability of this website, through the website credibility platform, "ScamDoc.com", where based on the data displayed, it is confirmed that this domain is assessed to be moderately reliable and a source of content that is considered to be "SPAM"(see here).
Meanwhile, to verify that this article was not prepared by the medium "telegrafi.com", whose website and logo appear in this article, hibrid.info has checked the website of this portal for news about journalist Kajtazi, but has not found anything similar to the claim in question (see here). This portal also denied to "hibrid.info" the authorship of this content.
Also, no such article was found published on the information portal “PrishtinaInsight.com” (see here).
So, the Facebook page "Uerlirippar" has misused the logos of the media outlets "Telegrafi.com" and "PrishtinaInsight.com".
Regarding the publisher of this content, hibrid.info has noted that the page has no posts and no followers (see here). This page was created on July 20, 2024, and it is unknown who manages it.

Analyze:
The claim that Vehbi Kajtazi has been sued by the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) after speaking about enriching himself through an alleged cryptocurrency platform is incorrect.
This claim is presented as an imitation of the media websites "PrishtinaInsight.com" and "Telegrafi.com". The same has not been found published in the media or in the institution to which they refer.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this content as "Fake News" and "Fraud".
Reasoning:
The “Fake News” rating is given to informational content that is entirely fabricated or that contains factually incorrect claims or information. Content that is rated as fake news can be defined as having been created and distributed with the intent to misinform the public, i.e., to present a claim that is completely false as fact.
The “Deception” rating is given to informational content that is manipulated in terms of visual (deepfake, cheapfake), audio, or textual content to deceive the audience. This form of deception is usually used to produce false and manipulated content.
