The news outlet "Euronews Albania" has published an article claiming that Albanians are at risk from a chip that will be connected to the two satellites Albania 1 and 2, which were launched into space earlier this year in Albania.
The claim is based on statements given in an interview on "Goodmorning Albanians", a morning show on "Euronews Albania" television (July 06) by Arianit Sllamnikut, a conspiracist.
But hibrid.info has proven that Sllamnik's claims have no basis and that the show in question has created the space for promoting such claims.

Excerpt from the interview with conspiracy theorist Arian Sllamniku in the Euronews Albania article:
Conspiracy theorist Arianit Sllamniku said in an interview with "Goodmorning Albanians" on Euronews Albania that Albanians are endangered by a chip connected to 2 satellites.
He commented here on the satellites "Albania 1" and "Albania 2" for which our country pays rent.
According to Sllamnik, digital money will be introduced at the end of the year and everyone will be microchipped to make payments and circulate financially.
"These microchips also imply surveillance or monitoring from above. Those microchips work with 8 bits of electricity which is produced by the body and give signals," the conspiracist said.
Hibrid.info has found the full broadcast, dated July 06, of this television program, on the official YouTube channel of Euronews Albania (see here).
From minute 31:48, the news item dedicated to the news about the 8 new satellites for Albania begins to appear, a topic that was discussed in the show on that date.
In the video, it can be seen that as the moderator introduces Arian Sllamniku, she refers to him as a conspiracist, an assessment which Sllamniku does not deny.
The definition of the word conspiracist according to the Cambridge Dictionary (see here).
Seeing that Azmer Dulević, an energy expert, and Arianit Sllamniku, a conspiracy theorist, were invited to the show to discuss the importance of the news, and in the absence of representatives of official institutions, hibrid.info has confirmed that the conditions were created on the show for making such statements, unfounded in fact, from which the article with the published claim was constructed.

Such reports often misinterpret or manipulate existing scientific research, or refer to research that is contrary to scientific verification and fact-finding.
