The dubious portal with content in the Albanian language "news426media.com" has published an article, through which it is falsely claimed that the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has declared that Kosovo and Albania could unite, if the latter is not admitted to the EU.
The fact that the title of this article is false was discovered during the fact-checking carried out by hibrid.info. The content contains an old interview of the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama (October 29, 2021) given to the German media outlet "Merkur" (here).
In a request for comment on the idea of Kosovo-Albania unification, Rama said that "Such mind games are more likely outside than inside the EU."
So, it is not true that Rama has stated that "If Albania is not accepted into the EU, then it will join Kosovo", as falsely claimed in the title of this article.

This article with a false title was also shared on Facebook by the page "KOHA E RE", which has nearly 7 thousand followers. (see here)
Also, this article contains inappropriate photographs, as, in addition to Rama's portrait, it also shows French President Emmanuel Macron, but the latter is never mentioned in the content of this article.
After researching through online search engines, hibrid.info managed to find Rama's interview given to the German media outlet "Merkur", which was published by several online media outlets in Kosovo. (see here and here)
