Through several headlines in various articles, it has been claimed that the Serbian parallel municipality that was closed on Wednesday (September 16) was in Skenderaj/Srbija.
The claim was published by several Albanian-language media outlets as “gazetaexpress.com","gazetablic.com","orainfo.net","gazeta10.com","periscope.com","epokaere.com"and "tattooshop.com".
What is the truth?
The closed facility was not in the territory of the municipality of Skenderaj. In fact, according to the Kosovo Police, the facility in question was in the territory covered by the North Mitrovica Regional Directorate, but served as part of illegal structures responsible for the municipality of Skenderaj.
So the publishers have confused the place with the name of the closed parallel municipality.

In a police statement On Wednesday, it was announced that the facility in question was near the police facility of the Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica-North.
