Old articles related to northern Kosovo are being republished with the claim of being current

Several Facebook social media pages published articles yesterday (February 2) regarding northern Kosovo.

One article claims that the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" has warned of an outbreak of conflict in Kosovo, while the other article talks about several masked people who opened fire in the north, chanting "He's back, Kosovo is Serbia."

After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that both of these articles are old, referring to events from November (2022).

After research conducted through online search engines, hibrid.info has found articles published in real time (November 6, 2022) in online media in Kosovo.

The Facebook pages "Feja Ime", "Exlusive Albania Today" and "Shqipet" have published these old articles with the claim of presenting them as current, thus leaving room for misinformation for the reader.
