The Director of the "Office for Kosovo and Metohija" in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, spoke about the wounded Serb in the north of the country, during the tensions that were created by groups of the Serbian community in north Mitrovica with members of the Kosovo Police, on October 13.

“Sreqko Sofronijevic was wounded on the threshold of his house because of his first and last name. He is a brave man who could have been killed because of Albin Kurti’s foul play. The act because of which he could have been killed is an act of heroism,” Petkovic tells the Serbian-language media outlet "Kosovo-online.com".
