A post claimed to have conducted a survey regarding political parties in Kosovo, on the eve of the parliamentary elections on February 9.

Ky post was published yesterday (October 29) on TikTok by the account "tavnikcitypdk".

In the picture, which purports to be the results of a poll, the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) comes out on top with 31 percent, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 28 percent, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 23 percent, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with 8 percent, and the Communities with 10 percent.

The truth?

Hibrid.info has researched through the online search engine "Google", searching with the keywords "latest poll for the elections in Kosovo”And“LVV 31%, PDK 28%, LDK 23%, AAK 8% and Communities 10%". However, the results do not show such a survey.

The publication of this survey, up to the moment of its treatment by hibrid.info, has received over 18 thousand views and over 180 comments. (see here)

About surveys

The two surveys that have been published in recent months are the one in April, when "reporters.net"published some data which it reported were taken from a survey conducted by the company "UBO Consulting" and that of June when "albanianpost.com"published a survey conducted by the company "Source" in collaboration with this portal. The data from the two surveys showed different percentages.

In recent weeks, publications with false claims about polls for the February 9 elections have increased. Hibrid.info has verified some of these (see some hereherehere and here).

Analyze:

The account named "tavnikcitypdk" on TikTok has claimed to have published a recent survey.

Hibrid.info used "google.com" and verified that there was no publication with such a claim in any credible information source.

Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this content as "Fake News".

Reasoning:

The “Fake News” rating is given to informational content that is entirely fabricated or that contains factually incorrect claims or information. Content that is rated as fake news can be defined as having been created and distributed with the intent to misinform the public, i.e., to present a claim that is completely false as fact.
