The information portal "Kosova-sot.info" published an article on its Facebook page yesterday (April 4) titled "Serious: Waterworks workers hit 2-year-old girl with car and throw her body into canal."
After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the title of the article does not clarify that it is about an event that occurred in Serbia.
After clicking on the Facebook post link, it is noticed that the title of the article changes, clarifying the news that the event took place in Serbia.
The information portal in question is registered in Kosovo (see here), therefore, as such, the title in question leaves room for misinformation among readers, making them think that it is about an event that occurred in Kosovo.

Comparison of the title of the article published in the Facebook post and that on the website
After research conducted through online search engines, hibrid.info found the article published in other online media, which also clarified through the title that the event took place in Serbia. (here and here)
Analyze:
The information portal "Kosova-sot.info" has published an article on Facebook regarding the murder of a child by waterworks workers, but the title did not clarify that the event occurred in Serbia.
Only after clicking the link does it become apparent that the article's title has been changed.
This online medium is a portal that operates in Kosovo, and the failure to provide information about the location of the incident could very easily misinform readers that the event took place in Kosovo.
Based on the working methodology, hibrid.info evaluates this article as "Clickbait".
Rating:
The “Clickbait” rating is given to texts whose titles have no basis in the content of the following text. Such texts and articles aim to attract the attention of the reader or even the consumer with a sensational title by promising content that does not actually exist and are created mainly out of financial interest, that is, due to increased readability. So, this type of text is intended only to click, which can be converted into a profit for the content producer.
