A call for donations, supposedly to help the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), has been created on the "donorbox.org" platform reported by our compatriots in the US, for which it is unknown how it was distributed.
However, this turns out to be a scam.
Based on what is stated in the description of the call, it is claimed that this is a fund for the security of the FKS. While it is recommended that contributors to this fund can donate from 5 to 20 euros, with the possibility of also determining the amount of money they want to donate.
But, after checking the facts, Hibrid.info has found and confirmed that this call is false and that the only form of contributions to the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Security Fund is through a bank account at the Central Bank of Kosovo, which makes the fund in question suspicious.
The fact that Kosovo institutions, such as the Kosovo Embassy in the US, have also reacted to the distribution of this link means that there are suspicions that citizens may have fallen prey to this fraud.

After research, hibrid.info found a status published yesterday (March 8) by the Kosovo Embassy in the US website, which indicates that the link is a scam and has nothing to do with donations to the KSF Security Fund (here).
This published status emphasizes that the only form of donation to the KSF is through a bank account at the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK).

We inform all compatriots that the link https://donorbox.org/fsk-donation, recently reported by compatriots in the USA, has nothing to do with donations to the KSF Security Fund and is a scam.
We remind you that the only form of donation to the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) is through a bank account at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, account for the Security Fund.
Hibrid.info has also found an article published by the information portal "insajderi.org", in which a statement by the Minister of the KSF, Ejup Maqedonci, regarding this issue was also published (here).
Based on the statement "Apart from the Kosovo Government's security fund, no other fund or organization is authorized to make donations for protection and "security", it can be understood that even from the institution that the Macedonian leads, the link to the foundation in question is considered a fraud.

Hibrid.info has found the reaction of the Kosovo Embassy in the US and a statement by the Minister of the Kosovo Security Force, Ejup Maqedonci, which indicates that the only form of donations for the security fund established by the Government of Kosovo remains the bank account at the CBK.
