On social media Facebook, pages like “Kosovo Report","My Pristina”And“Newspaper 17 February" published a post on Saturday (December 13) claiming that the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) had published a poll.
The caption of this post reads "LDK ranks first in these elections according to a poll that they say they conducted themselves!" While the caption of the photo includes figures such as, "LDK: 54.3%, PDK: 23.2% and LVV: 17.2%", with the claim "LDK publishes the polls online".
The truth?
After research conducted by hibrid.info, it was confirmed that LDK has not published any public opinion polls for the parliamentary elections expected to be held on December 28.

Hibrid.info has researched the official LDK website “lidhjademokratike.org”, but the results do not show any “online poll” published by this political entity. (see here)
Also, such a publication was not found on the official LDK Facebook page. (see here)
Hibrid.info searched Google with the keywords "LDK publishes online survey”And“LDK: 54.3%, PDK: 23.2% and LVV: 17.2%", but the results do not show such information published in the media or credible sources.
As of the writing of this article, the post published on the “Kosova Report” page has collected over 2 thousand reactions, over 1 thousand comments and 28 shares. The post on the “Prishtina ime” page collected over 1 thousand reactions, over 600 comments and 14 shares. While the post on the “Gazeta 17 shkurti” page received 23 reactions and 27 comments.
Analyze:
Several Facebook pages have claimed that the LDK has published an election poll in which it is stated that this political entity ranks first with 54.3%, ahead of the PDK and the LVV.
After verification by hibrid.info, it has been proven that this claim is false. LDK has not published any poll or public opinion measurement, neither on its official website nor on social networks. Also, Google searches do not yield any credible source confirming the existence of this “online poll”.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this claim as "Fake News".
Reasoning:
The “Fake News” rating is given to informational content that is entirely fabricated or that contains factually incorrect claims or information. Content that is rated as fake news can be defined as having been created and distributed with the intent to misinform the public, i.e., to present a claim that is completely false as fact.
