During major local or international events, content generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) related to them often appears.
Through this AI-generated content, various claims are made, attempting to present a certain event out of context or from a different perspective, often accompanied by false captions.
One such case occurred on Monday (August 18) when the President of the United States of America (US), Donald Trump, held a diplomatic meeting at the White House with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and was later joined by several European leaders.

The image purports to show French President Emmanuel Macron sitting in a corridor, accompanied by six other European Union (EU) leaders.
The image was released with the claim that they were waiting their turn to speak to the US president, after the latter finished meeting with the Ukrainian president.
Image found published on the X platform by Joey Mannarino, a conservative political commentator and strategist known for his polemical and satirical style. The same was shared on many social media platforms.
The description of this image claims that the leaders were being humiliated, forced to wait in silence with their heads bowed, to speak with President Trump when the latter met with Zelenskyy.
However, this image was not real and was created by AI.
Image verification
If we stop and look closely at this image, we notice inconsistencies in it. In the chair positioned next to the French president, two legs are visible, but not the rest of the body, suggesting that this is a digital "error". (see photo below)

In addition to this detail, there is also the fact that three women appear in the photograph, while in reality the meeting with Trump included only two female leaders, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.
Also, the wardrobe worn by the women in the image does not match their outfits seen in the published photographs from the meeting held at the White House. (see photo comparison below)

Hibrid.info used the AI-generated content verification platform, "Hive Moderation" to analyze the above-mentioned image.
After verifying the image in total, "HiveModeration" has estimated that this photo has a 99.5% chance of being generated by AI.

What should we keep in mind?
When AI-generated content is distributed online, there is a possibility that it may contain shortcomings or inappropriate elements, such as defects in body appearance, inaccurate details, or other visual disconnects that do not correspond to reality.
For this reason, it is very important that, whenever we come across such material, we do not immediately take it for granted, but rather seek confirmation from reliable sources, such as fact-checking platforms and credible media.
Also, if you suspect that a content is created with AI, you can also verify it through image verification platforms such as "HiveModeration","illuminarty"and "Aiornot".
