Through a post circulating on social media Facebook, it is alleged that American political analyst Janusz Bugajski had made a statement about the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
"Kurti is the first leader of Kosovo who cannot be bought and who puts the interests of the state of Kosovo before his personal interests. For this reason, he is an obstacle to those who want a quick and soft solution with Serbia, which is why he is attacked. Kosovo has a prime minister who is building a state."
The post was found published on August 23 by the account "Elez Neziraj" on Facebook.

What's wrong with this content?
After verifying the claim, hibrid.info has found no credible evidence confirming that the statement in question was made by Janusz Bugajski.

FACTS
During the research, hibrid.info searched Google for the statement attributed to Bugajski, using parts of the text and the analyst's name. The search results did not show any credible source where this statement was published or documented (see here).
On the other hand, several documented statements and positions of Janusz Bugajski regarding Albin Kurti have been found. These positions show that he spoke positively about some aspects of Kurti's figure and policies, but at the same time he also expressed criticism of the way the prime minister has managed relations with the United States and the European Union (see here, here and here).
However, none of the sources found identified the statement circulating on Facebook and attributed to Bugajski.

We recall that American analyst Janusz Bugajski died on October 18, 2025, at the age of 71. (see here).
