In an intensive two-hour session, participants discussed and analyzed various forms of misinformation, focusing on concrete examples of information manipulation. The discussion took place at the premises of the NGO Aktiv in North Mitrovica, where participants discussed disinformation, fake news, manipulation of facts, hoaxes, errors, and conspiracy theories. The compilation of concrete examples and their discussion provided a deep understanding of the dangers that misinformation poses and methods to successfully counter them.
This initiative, funded by the United States Embassy in Pristina, aims to strengthen local communities in North Mitrovica, equipping them not only with in-depth knowledge about the phenomenon of disinformation, but also with the skills and determination to counter it.
