Several dubious portals have published an article with a false headline claiming that 18 thousand euros have been allocated to all MPs as "aid" due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The title of this article turns out to be fabricated and the news is old, while it was distributed with the claim of being presented as current.
The authentic news was published in August 2020, where it was announced that since the beginning of 2020, only 31 sessions have been held, while MPs' salaries have cost the budget over 1 million euros.
Hibrid.info covered this article months ago, which is still being published as fact by several dubious portals.
"In addition to the gross salary of 1547 euros, they also enjoyed other rights for any additional activity. And for 6 months, the 120 deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo, not counting the salaries for other activities outside the sessions, have contributed over 1 million euros to the state budget."
So, in no case is it said that 18 thousand euros were allocated to MPs as "aid" for the pandemic crisis, as falsely claimed in the title of the article published on "specialja.com".
