Fake loan campaigns continue to be published by suspicious Facebook page

FATBARDH DEMA

A post claiming to offer business loan opportunities of up to 25 thousand euros was published on Facebook by the page "Personal Loan".

After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that this site published the post that constitutes a false announcement.

Hibrid.info has managed to confirm that the post was taken from the announcement of the "Kosovo Financing Agency", a micro-finance institution, and its description has been changed.

After research conducted through search engines, hibrid.info has managed to find that this offer to apply for a business loan is provided by the micro-finance institution in Kosovo, "Agency for Financing in Kosovo", published on December 21. (see here)

Also, seeing that the post was made in Albanian by the page “Personal Loans”, hibrid.info has researched financial institutions and licensed banks in Kosovo. This research results in no evidence of the activity of the page in question in Kosovo (see here).

Also, what makes the “Personal Loan” page on Facebook more suspicious is the lack of sufficient data in the about section of this Facebook page. The published data does not prove the credibility or reliability and transparency of the “Personal Loan” page (see here).

Analyze:

Hibrid.info, after verifying the facts, has confirmed that this site used a campaign from a micro-finance institution in Kosovo, claiming to present it as its own, while also changing its description.

Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info has rated this site as "Scam".
