A Facebook account named "Fleta Press" published an image yesterday (March 29) featuring Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, with the caption attached to the photo, which presents his statement, "Kurti rejected the Association even though we insisted".
The account in question captioned this post claiming that the content in question is "Breaking news!".
But, after verifying the facts, it was found that this statement presented by Serbian President Vučić was made on February 27, 2023 by the latter.
Reposting an old news story and presenting it as the latest news, based on the number of followers (7 thousand) of this account, can be read by the audience as a current event.

After researching using search engines, hibrid.info found the same image published by the "indeksonline.net" portal page on Facebook, on February 27th of last year (see here).

The statement came after the meeting of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti with the Serbian president in Brussels, as part of the dialogue for the normalization of relations between the two countries, facilitated by the European Union.
To prove that the statement is not current, Hibrid.info has also checked and found articles from other media outlets, which reported what Vučić said last year (see here, here and here).
Analyze:
The claim that the statement ""Kurti rejected the Association even though we insisted" by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, presents breaking news, it is not accurate.
After verifying the facts, it was found that the statement is from last year (2023).
