The news that Kurti "has allocated 4 thousand housing units" is fabricated and based on old news

HIBRID

The article titled "Kurti allocates 4000 social apartments for families in need", was published by the dubious portal with content in the Albanian language "gazetaz.com".

After fact-checking by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the title of this article is fabricated, which does not correspond to the content. Also, the news turns out to be old, published in January 2022.

After research conducted through online search engines, hibrid.info managed to find that this article was published in online media on January 27, 2022, at the time when the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during the opening of the roundtable on the Adequate Social Housing Program for Kosovo, said:

"Social housing is critical infrastructure to enhance the well-being and security of citizens, for social equality, and to empower and develop communities."

So, it is not true that Kurti has allocated 4 housing units to families with social assistance, as falsely claimed in the title of the article published by the dubious portal "gazetaz.com".

After researching through search engines, hibrid.info managed to find the article published in real time (January 27, 2022) published in several online media in Kosovo. (see here and here)

This is not the first time that this article with a fabricated title has been published by dubious portals, as the same one was also published in February of this year by the dubious portal "lajmet.trendliveg24.com", which was also verified by hibrid.info. (see here)

During this roundtable on the Adequate Social Housing Program for Kosovo, Kurti said that he aims to provide affordable housing to 4 families during his mandate.

Excerpts from Kurti's speech during the roundtable on the Adequate Social Housing Program for Kosovo:

"The government is working in this direction and we have included the social housing program in the Program of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the years 2021-2025. Within the mandate, we aim to create a social housing program, as well as to enable affordable housing for 4 thousand families. This will be achieved through the "120×120" and "150×150" schemes, where beneficiary families will become owners of apartments with monthly installments of only 120 and 150 euros maximum and for a period of time of no more than 120 and 150 months, respectively.", Kurti had said, among other things.
